This conceptual piece brings an interactive visual 3D wall sculpture of what a sound grouping may appear as.
Inspired by mid-century architecture, I have a passion for magnificent structures built to please the eye, In my usual futuristic style, I set out to create a mixed media piece with repurposed packing wood.
An interactive magnetic system of components come together to create a character or futuristic matrix. Artistic assemblage & construction technique is utilized to create unique, individually crafted magnetic emblems. These emblems are made with mixed materials of foam, brushed metals, plastics and more.
The artist leaves options open with an interactive nature to move the placement of the components around to create something entirely new or keep the artist's original composition.
The purpose of my work is to invoke a vision of a futuristic world that invites you to take part. I like to include many geometric features, clean lines, and a neutral pleasing palette rich in metallics with high reflectivity. When the viewer encounters my work, I want them to see my inspirations of industrial architecture, digital technology, futuristic battle armor tempered with timeless style.
