Consider the depth and body of the transparent atmosphere. The gentle engulfing, blurring, and blinding effect that fog can have. It doesn't remove the tangible and physical world around us, only temporarily blinds us to it. Even though something is unperceived by our physical senses, it does not speak to its absence of existence. If only we choose to see our world a bit differently. Consider life at times like wandering through a temporary fog.
In materials, I used a mix of MDF, Hard foam, Acrylic glass, and steel accents.
Now all we can see of God is like a cloudy picture in a mirror. Later, we will see him face to face. We don't know everything, but then we will, just as God completely understands us.
