It is a reflection. Healing was the miracle in John 9 when Jesus heals a blind man at the Pool of Siloam. Siloam means (being sent or sent forth) a gushing forth of waters. When we are in need of healing miracles are just waiting for us to believe and receive.
I chose various textures for my tiles in multiple shades of blue that represent clear, healing waters. I love including a tangible effect in my work where touch offers just as much enjoyment as sight.
