Pleasant Places Series is a collection of works with a composition of intersecting lines and soft pastels, Pleasant Places invites both the eye and the hand to explore its layered, tactile surfaces.
Part of the Pleasant Places series, this three-dimensional wall sculpture focuses on the combination of shapes, textures, and neutral shades that creates a sense of clean organization that is both nostalgic and fresh.
To many of us are struggling in a world today that feels so overwhelming and uninviting. Chaos and disorganization dominate our thoughts, and disorder looms at every turn. I created CLEAN in this series to bring a sense of calm and order to the space. A mental organization & decluttering of the mind. A clean space with structured calm. This is what I set out to create in this piece.
I love to embrace an ‘80s design sensibility, with structured geometry that recalls architecture and retro-futuristic optimism in my work.
